Most wine managers know that it can be a slow sell to pitch wines to your customers with an unknown label from an unknown region, and for that reason it isn't as profitable as selling your bread and butter products. This is when these promo wines offered by the distributor can come in handy.


But regardless of your decision, it is oftentimes helpful to know what your competition will be pricing it at. If you really like a wine, you may want to consider purchasing all the distributor has in stock to prevent any interference from your competition.
